A letter from the President of NY Design Build
I would like to thank you for considering NY Design Build as your design build contractor. I would also like to take the time to explain our business practices and philosophies.
I started out remodeling homes in 1974 working in Long Island, New York and New York City. I gained my experience hands on and moved up in the ranks from laborer to mechanic to master mechanic and foreman. I personally was responsible for thousands of remodeling projects of all varieties. In 1982 I switched from working foreman to designer and estimator. As a result of my field training I quickly became successful and was promoted to training other designers and estimators with my techniques. I was one of the first Certified Remodelers to pass the C.R. test in 1986 and was part of the team that initiated the first study guides and classroom environments in 1990. I taught the class in 1995. I am currently the Vice President of AZ N.A.R.I. and on the AZ N.A.R.I. ethics committee.
I moved to Arizona in 2001 and started planning the concept of NY Design Build. We're a family owned and operated that is committed to the ethical principles of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, the Better Business Bureau and the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
In my 31 years in remodeling I have found that there are many facets in a project that make it successful.
Good planning
Selections of products that are proven to be of good quality
And of course the three rules of successful and quality remodeling project
Communication, Communication, Communication
To serve our customers better we have initiated our 4 step design process which follows the critical path of construction. We look at the overall project from start to finish to limit and, in most cases eliminate any cost over runs. This process has been the cornerstone to our 100% customer satisfaction rating.
Sincerely,
Brian Puglisi C.R.
